At every turn there are architectural masterpieces, monuments and other sights from centuries past. For example, the famous bridges: the Golden Bridge, the Bridge of the Noputs, the House of the Old and New Procurations, the Venir de Leonia Palace, the Dodja Palace, the Library, the Clock Tower, the Campanile Bell Tower with its observation deck, the magnificent Arsenale complex, Santa Maria della Salute Cathedral, Fray Basilica and the Mercia shopping street. Vatican City is a city-state located on the territory of Rome, with an area of just 0.44 square kilometres and only one city. It was created by the Lutheran Agreements between the Roman Catholic Church and the Italian State on 11 February 1929. The Vatican is home to every existing papal residence in Rome, whose furnishings and interiors deserve special attention and admiration. Excursions programme in Tuscany (Siena travel tax € 5 and San Gimignano travel tax € 5)

Tuscany is not only one of the most famous places in our world, but also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a collection of the best Italian wines and landscapes.

In Siena can easily be lost in time and space - the basic form and traditions of this city have not changed in 700 years. Its streets are filled with contrasts, without a trace of modernity. In Siena, we are transported unnoticed to the 14th century, to a city famous for its monuments: the cathedral, the work of the best 13th-century craftsmen. The exquisite Campo Square in Delhi is a model of medieval architecture.

San Gimignano has long been one of the cosiest and best-loved corners of Italy. Millions of tourists from all over the world come here to see the colourful streets, Tuscan ceramics, towers and stunning landscapes. It is thanks to the towers that this place has come to be known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages”. No less important reason to visit San Gimignano is to taste the gelato made by Italy's best gelato maker, which has repeatedly become world champion in its field.

DAY 5

Breakfast. Excursions to Florence (~ 5 € public transport costs)

Florence is the city where the Renaissance flourished in the 15th century, with Dontello, Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci as its protagonists. It was here that banking flourished, making the gold florin the first “European single currency”. In Florence, Dante, Boccaccio and Petrarch composed the first volumes of European literature. Giotto and Arnolfo di Cambio created their masterpieces on the banks of the Arno. And today, a leisurely stroll along the Old Bridge and Dante's Quarter, a seat in the Piazza Signoria and the open-air museum, the Loggia Lance, are the setting for the inimitable “European workshop”.

DAY 6

Breakfast.

On request Excursions to Pisa and Genoa (€50 + €8 Pisa travel tax).

It would be hard to find a person who is not familiar with the image of the bell tower of Pisa. It is more than a monument, it is a symbol of great architecture. As early as the 15th century, the first sightseeing tours began to be organised in Europe to see the Tower of Pisa. Over the centuries, its popularity has grown. But rarely does a visit to the famous Piazza del Pisa focus on its gardens, its beautiful streets with arched galleries, the university quarter where the great explorer Galileo Galilei worked.

The final point of our journey - Genoa.

Genoa is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, with the richest historic centre in Europe, and is a centre of heavy industry and shipbuilding. The city is situated on the Ligurian Gulf and its main attraction is the lighthouse known as “la Lanterna”. The city has many historical monuments such as the Dodja Palace, Porta Soprana - the medieval Genoa Gate, St. Lawrence Cathedral, Christopher Columbus House, the central square of Piazza Ferrari.

Free time.

Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7

Breakfast. Room check-out. Excursions programme “Verona (travel fee - 5 €) and Lake Garda”.

Verona - a city of unique appeal and romanticism.

When you come to Verona, it's impossible not to appreciate its uniqueness and beauty

Here you can see the places associated with the Dante of Alighieri. You can walk through the streets that remember the Scaliger family and visit the courtyard of Juliet's house where, under the famous balcony where Romeo stood, generations of lovers have been making wishes and putting them into practice. The city invites everyone to take a stroll along the Adige waterfront and discover its Roman past, with monuments that for 2000 years have been reminders of the might of the Roman Empire. Verona is home to one of the few amphitheatres, the Arendi di Verona, once the site of gladiatorial battles and now a great stage for opera performances.

Lake Garda Italy's largest and most beautiful lake, it lies at the crossroads of the three Italian regions of Lombardy (Brescia), Veneto (Verona) and Trentino-Alto Adige (Trento). The ancient Romans called the lake Benaco, but Lake Garda acquired its present name in the Middle Ages, thanks to the town of Garda in the province of Verona. Some documents from the 8th century mention that the name Garda is derived from the German word “warda”, meaning “guard” or “place of observation”. The shores of Lake Garda in Verona, with its mild climate, are known by many as the “Olive Riviera”, while the coastline in the province of Brescia is famous for its terraced lemon orchards, giving it the name 'Lemon Riviera'.

For many centuries Sirmione, Nestled on a peninsula dividing the southern part of Lake Garda in two, it is gaining popularity among travellers attracted by its natural beauty and historical sights. The town carefully preserves important Roman and medieval monuments and pays tribute to great artists and poets. Celebrities such as Catullus, Joyce, Tennyson and Maria Callas have visited the city.

For those who wish, there will be the opportunity to go on an exciting boat trip on Lake Garda (extra cost ~ 15 €).
