Cannes - Saint-Paul-de-Deans - Perfume factory
Ever the famous Cannes (Cannes) was just a fishing village. Cannes is still not a big city - only 70 000 people live there - but it is the most famous city on the French Riviera and a popular resort. In 1945, Cannes was chosen to host a film festival and this event completely determined the fate of the town. Since then, the Croisette's waterfront has been transformed into a catwalk once a year, the car parks into retro and luxury car shows and the shop windows as glamorous as the public's outfits.
Next, we'll head to Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Saint-Pauldevans - A „living” art gallery for Azure Coast dealers. There are some architectural monuments and historic buildings, but that's not what makes it popular. The real fame of the city is due to the various artists (Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall) and film stars. In the 1920s, artists stayed at the Golden Fist Hotel and left their paintings as payment for food and lodging. Today, these works are displayed in a place of honour in the hotel. In addition, the exhibition is constantly being changed, as more than one artist has left a painting for a fee.
Founded in 1747, Galimard was one of the first French perfumeries. Jean Galimard (founder of the company) was a court supplier to Louis, King of France: olive oils for self-care, pomades, perfumes whose formulas he invented himself. Today, Galimard is a family business, preserving the traditions and secrets of luxury production, the commitment to quality and the love of perfume.

Excursions to Nice
Nice is like an artist's palette: orange roof tiles, red and yellow walls, colourful bell towers, original shop signs, all combined with different aromas and music. The most attractive part of Nice is undoubtedly the famous Promenade des Anglais (Promenade des Anglais), 5 kilometres long, with its luxurious hotels and long beach. Old Nice is bounded to the east by a hillfort. A fortress and a cathedral once stood on the hill, which is almost 100 metres high. In the old town, you'll feel the bustling atmosphere of a provincial town.
Free time or as you wish excursions to Monaco (additional fee 50 €). Entry fee 5 €
Monaco is a small independent fiefdom. It's the world of car racing, the royal family, beautiful ports, resorts and castles. The principality is only 15 km from Nice and is divided into 3 parts. The first is Monaco, that is, the Rocher Rock and the Palace of the Princes, where tourists watch the ceremonial changing of the guard of the Carabinieri according to a ritual that is more than a hundred years old. Other sights around the palace include the Oceanographic Museum with its magnificent aquarium, an evergreen garden of exotic plants, and the Cathedral, where Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, who died on the border in 1982, and her husband Prince Rainier III, who died in 2005, are buried. The second part is the city itself, with the commercial district of Condamine, where the majority of the country's population lives. There is a seaport, a national library and a stadium. The third part is Monte Carlo with its casino, the first gaming place in Europe and one of the most respected and oldest gaming establishments in the world, which gave the world the concept of „casino”.
