Free day or optional sightseeing tour to Macau (for an additional fee of 100 €, entrance tickets are extra).

Macao is a city where Portuguese heritage is surprisingly intertwined with Chinese tradition. Here, ancient streets alternate with futuristic casinos, and the atmosphere is at once European and Asian.

During the tour we will visit:
Senado Square - Macau's main square, the heart of the old town and a major event venue. From here, you can overlook historic buildings from the Portuguese era, including the House of Holy Mercy and the bright yellow St Dominic's Church. The undulating pavement leads to the city's most recognisable landmark, the ruins of St Paul's Cathedral.

Ruins of St Paul's Cathedral - Macau's symbol and most famous landmark. The impressive stone facade of the 17th-century cathedral survived a fire. Once the most important Christian place of worship in East Asia, today it is a historic monument towering over the old town.

Macao fort (Monte) - 17th-century Portuguese fortress built to protect the colony. The observation deck offers panoramic views of Macau's historic centre and modern skyscrapers.

A-Ma Temple - The city's oldest temple, dedicated to the sea goddess A-Ma, patron saint of sailors. It is believed that her name is the origin of Macau's name. The temple complex is decorated with traditional roofs, colourful paintings and incense bowls.

The Venetian Casino is one of the largest entertainment complexes in the world, modelled on Venice, Italy, with canals and gondolas. You can stroll through the opulent interiors, browse the shops or try your luck in the casino.

Legend has it that just as the hunter was about to shoot at the top of the hill, the deer turned and a girl of extraordinary beauty appeared before him. To commemorate this miraculous event, a stone statue symbolising pure and true love has been erected at the top of the hill. The viewpoint offers a magnificent view of the town and the surrounding area.

Next, visit a shark blubber processing factory and a silk factory, as well as a tea ceremony.

Day 7

Breakfast.

Excursion to the ethnographic village and tropical park of Janoda (entrance tickets are extra).

Li and Miao The Ethnographic Village is the largest cultural complex in Hainaina, where you can learn about the traditions of the island's ancient inhabitants. The Li people lived on Hainahn long before the Chinese arrived, and later the Miao tribes also settled on the island. Today, these peoples are China's national minorities, but it is they who have preserved their unique customs and way of life, authentically reflected in the open-air museum. You will learn about the ancient occupations of hunting, rice farming and handicrafts, as well as see colourful performances of wedding rituals, dances and games.

Janoda Park is located in the only true tropical jungle area in China and has been awarded the highest national rating of 5A. The landscapes are untouched by human hands: huge ficus trees, centuries-old rattan lianas, the rare black cyatea - a "living fossil", medicinal lingzhi mushrooms, wild palms and orchids create a feeling of pristine nature. A walk on the famous Glass Bridge, a unique 365-metre-long structure with a 108-metre-long open terrace at an altitude of about 400 metres above sea level, is particularly impressive. The transparent floor offers a breathtaking view of the Ucchisan mountain range, giving you the feeling of being between heaven and earth.

Excursion programme "Nanshan Buddhist Centre and Phoenix Park", (entrance tickets are extra).

The Nanshan Buddhist Centre is one of the largest Buddhist complexes in Asia, located west of Sanya at the foot of the South Mountain. The complex covers an area of about 50 km² and was inaugurated in 1997. An ancient temple has been restored and a large landscape park has been created, where nature is harmoniously intertwined with the spiritual architecture. On an artificial island connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land stands the temple with the world's tallest bronze statue of the goddess Guanyin. A separate pavilion houses another unique relic: the largest golden statue of Guanyin, weighing about 140 kg, decorated with precious stones and placed on a lotus-shaped pedestal of white jade. This statue is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records and is considered one of the most important Buddhist shrines because it contains some of the ashes of Shakyamuni Buddha, who lived around 2500 years ago. The Nanshan complex is considered to be the embodiment of the principles of fengshui, a philosophy that has been known in China for more than three thousand years.

Phoenix Park is located at an altitude of around 400 metres above sea level. Its viewing platforms offer panoramic views of the five most famous bays of Sañj: Dadunhai, Xiaodunhai, Sañj, Jalunvan and Julinvan. An aerial cableway takes you to the top. A large golden statue of the Phoenix bird, one of the symbols of Chinese culture, is located in the park. Along the slopes of the hill, there are about two kilometres of scenic trails surrounded by tropical forest.

The route includes bridges and lookout points where you can enjoy panoramic views, listen to birds singing and watch the local fauna - rodents and lizards, as well as the „lovers' path" - a wooden walkway with cupid figurines, perfect for a romantic stroll.
