Meeting at Riga Airport

DAY 2

Transfer to the hotel. Check in, relax.

Second half of the day, for an additional fee (50 €), we offer to go on a trip to the charming town of Embo das Artis - a place that has become a true Mecca for artists and craftspeople. The narrow streets have a special atmosphere and are filled with workshops, art galleries and markets where you can buy original, handmade souvenirs.

After the tour, return to the hotel. Free time and relaxation.

DAY 3

„São Paulo - a city of contrasts”.

During the tour we will see the Municipal Market, the Cathedral, Batman's Corner (São Paulo is the graffiti capital and Batman's Corner is the most popular street for street artists), the Municipal Theatre, and the city's main street - Paulista Avenue, St. Benedict Monastery.

Free time, possibility to have lunch (average price for lunch: 15$).

Then take a bus to Rio de Janeiro.

Along the way, we'll see some amazing sights and hear interesting stories about Brazil and the city we'll be visiting.
Arrival in Rio, check in, relax.

DAY 4

„Heart of Brazil”

Breakfast. Departure Rio de Janeiro tour (Part 1).

Rio de Janeiro, the heart of Brazil, has long been considered the tourism hub of South America. We will see the statue of Christ the Redeemer as we take a funicular ride through the Tijuca Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world (TO BE PAID IN ADVANCE AT THE OFFICE!)

We will then head to the historic part of the city with its main attractions: the Cathedral, the Selaron Staircase, known worldwide for the Chilean artist Jorge Selaron. The staircase is decorated with mottled mosaics, then we will see the Arches of Lapa, the first imperial palace, St. Benedict's Monastery, one of the largest graffiti in the world and the streets of the old town.

Then we'll cruise along all the city's picturesque beaches, stop at the Maracana Stadium (one of the largest stadiums in the world), visit the Sambadrome, where Rio's street parades, parades and famous carnivals take place.

During the tour you will have free time for lunch and souvenir shopping.
Return to the hotel, relax.

DAY 5

„Cristo Redentor - the symbol of Brazil”

Combined tour of Rio de Janeiro (Part 2).

Sugarhead (Pão de Açúcar) is a mountain ~396 m high, towering over Guanabara Bay. From the top of the hill you can enjoy a magnificent view of the seascapes and golden sands, as well as the famous statue of Christ (TO BE PAID IN ADVANCE AT THE OFFICE!)

During the tour, we will ascend to Sugarhead via a cable car, where we will get a closer look at the founding site of Rio de Janeiro. Next, we will visit the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Gardens, where collections of plants are gathered not only from Brazil, but a range of plants and flowers from all over the world.

DAY 6

„The colour of nocturnal Rio de Janeiro”

Breakfast.

In the first half of the day, you will have the opportunity to visit sights or go shopping on your own.

In the second half of the day, we will go on a combined tour „Rio de Janeiro at Night”. You will have the opportunity to see a stunning and unforgettable sunset at Cape Arpoador and visit the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. During the tour, you will learn about the legends of the ghosts that live in Rio de Janeiro and have the chance to take part in a real Brazilian samba, the „Pedra do Sal” party, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro's African Quarter. Here, everyone sings and celebrates the local culture, offering tourists a taste of the local drink, the kaiperinha.

Return to the hotel, relax.

DAY 7

„City of Emperors”

Free day or as you wish trip to Petropolis (additional fee 45 €).

It was once the residence of Brazilian emperors. We will visit the summer residence of the emperors with a visit to the Kitandinha Palace, the Imperial Palace, the Cathedral, the house of the Brazilian aircraft constructor Santos Djumont and the 7th House of Errors. The middle of Petrópolis can be called a city-museum, which you will have the opportunity to see for yourself.

DAY 8

„Bridget's favourite resort”

Breakfast.
Room check-out, departure to the resort town of Buzios.

Buzios is 130 km north of Rio de Janeiro. The climate is dry, temperate and reminiscent of the Mediterranean. Due to the fact that it is practically never winter, tourists come here almost all year round. The resort is world famous thanks to the actress Bridgette Bordeaux, who first visited it in 1964. Tourists are greeted by golden beaches, calm turquoise sea with clear transparent water. There are a number of cosy cafés, sophisticated restaurants and shops.

Check in at Guest House 3*, relax on the Atlantic coast.

„The picturesque Brazilian coast”

Combined Niteroj city tour. We will see the architecture of the city, make sure to take a ride on the Rio-Niteroja Bridge (the largest reinforced concrete structure in the Southern Hemisphere, 13 km long), visit the mighty Santa Cruz Fortress, visit the MAK Museum of Contemporary Art, a building with a peculiar „flying saucer” shape, then visit the fish market and see the waterfront along the bay, from where you can enjoy great views of Rio de Janeiro.

Free day or optional trip to Santos (€ 80 supplement).

The day will start with a trip to Santos, a port town on the coast of São Paulo, known as “Neptune's Gate”. Here you will learn about the legendary footballer, the “King of Football”, Santos, the city's main resident, whose name has become a symbol of Brazil. His museum is one of the city's most important attractions.

You will also have the opportunity to take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean, as Santos has several beaches.
